AliExpress Choice reaches the US, UK and Western Europe in 5 to 10 days. AliExpress Standard Shipping takes 15 to 30 days. The cheapest economy tiers run 30 to 60 days, and express couriers such as DHL or FedEx deliver in 3 to 9.
Those ranges start when the carrier scans the parcel, not when you pay. Add the seller's handling time — usually three to seven days — to get the real total.

By destination
| Country | Choice | Standard | Economy |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States | 5 to 10 days | 15 to 25 days | 30 to 50 days |
| United Kingdom | 5 to 10 days | 15 to 25 days | 30 to 45 days |
| Spain, France, Germany | 5 to 12 days | 15 to 30 days | 30 to 50 days |
| Canada | 8 to 15 days | 20 to 35 days | 35 to 60 days |
| Australia | 7 to 14 days | 18 to 30 days | 35 to 55 days |
| Brazil | 15 to 25 days | 25 to 45 days | 45 to 90 days |
| Pakistan, India | 10 to 20 days | 20 to 40 days | 40 to 70 days |
Brazil and several South American destinations are consistently the slowest, largely because of customs processing rather than transit. Western Europe and the US are the fastest, and the gap has widened since Choice rolled out.
What actually slows a parcel down
Seller handling time. Three to seven days before the parcel even exists as far as the carrier is concerned. Sellers with same-day dispatch advertise it.
Consolidation. Cheap shipping waits for a full container heading your way. That wait is invisible in tracking and can add a week on its own.
Customs. Batched processing, so it is queue time rather than inspection time. See our guide on parcels stuck at customs.
Peak periods. Chinese New Year in late January or February effectively halts dispatch for two to three weeks. The 11.11 sale in November floods the network. Both routinely add one to three weeks to every tier.
How to get it faster
Filter for Choice at the point of buying — it now handles a majority of US-bound orders and is usually only marginally more expensive. Check the seller's dispatch time on the listing. And remember you cannot upgrade shipping after checkout, so the decision is made once, at the basket.
Once it moves, you can track the parcel across every carrier on the route rather than refreshing the AliExpress app, which tends to lose sight of the parcel at the handoff to your national postal service.
